Franciscan Tau Cross Rosary

One of my favorites places in the world is Assisi. Around the Italian hill town, there are many tau crosses. The tau cross symbolizes the cross of crucifixion and is associated with St. Anthony of Egypt and St. Francis of Assisi. When I came across these tau wooden crosses, I knew I had to get them for my handmade rosaries! Such a simple yet beautiful olive wood rosary.

This five decade rosary has a Franciscan tau cross, 8mm unpolished olive wood beads, and nylon cord. The tau cross (2″ in length) is handmade in the Holy Land from sustainably harvested, authentic Bethlehem olivewood. Your choice of beige, black, or brown nylon cord. Two cords are strung in between each wooden bead, resulting in durable and strong construction with tight barrel knots. I add in space before tying a barrel knot with the nylon cord so you are able to move the beads when praying. Each olive wood rosary (approximately 14″ in length) is packaged in a clear plastic sleeve with rosary instructions and a 3″x4″ muslin pouch. This lightweight rosary makes a great Catholic gift for all occasions! Plus, free shipping in the U.S.
