October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Over the last 20 years, I have had a special devotion to the rosary. There is something about the repetition of prayer that speaks to my contemplative heart. There is also something about the repetition of stringing rosaries by hand, something I have enjoyed doing for the last five years.

The Beauty of the Rosary

I must admit, even though I was a collector of beautiful rosaries when I was younger, I didn’t pray the rosary regularly until my late 20’s. There is something about taking those fifteen minutes of stillness. It is now one of my favorite parts of the day!

When satisfied customers tell me that my handmade rosary is one of their favorites, I am touched. That’s why I take extra steps to make durable and longer-lasting rosaries. The knots are tight and I inspect each bead before stringing it. Oh Lord, bless the work of my hands!
